Good morning all,

Could someone please help me with this Bauknecht washing machine?

There is a noise, especially loud when it is in centrifugal mode. I suspect it is the bearing ball. According to the schema there are two bearings:

941 0 4812 520 28003 Kugellager Agg. 2 6306
941 1 4812 520 28005 Kugellager Agg. 2 6304

No fault indication on the display panel.

Any advice?

It is indeed the right product number, I have the manual (see attached bmp file)

. I bought it 7 years ago in BE.

I looked your prevoius reply on changing the bearing on similar model. Thank you for pointing to this.

I think faulty bearing is the origin of the noise. Do you think I should change both 6306 an 6304? What about the seal ring 953 0 4812 530 68001 Wellendichtring V 40 A? Do I need to change it too?

... yes, you have change both bearings and the seal ring V 40 A, too !

The seal ring V 40 A is to glue in place

Dear Flumer,

I took out the drum, but I'm stuck! Can't go any further. I unscrewed four large bolts on the side of the drum, but cannot take out anything. Here's picture of the drum.

Could you please (or anyone) help me wit this?

Dear flumer,

Here's my progress on Bauknecht Frankfurt 1600:

The bearings have been replaced and I'm just about to mount back everything on the drum.

However, I have a question about the seal. The seal is inside the drum, on the axle, and I cannot replace it unless I open the drum, that I want to avoid.

would it be ok if I leave it like that? I mean, only bearings replaced. What could go wrong? I'm afraid I cannot open the drum for the fear I will have leaks afterwards.
