I think that the problem is the Y or the Z board (according to telephone help Medion)

Half (exactly) the screen has red lines and picture not too clear other half perfect.

This is a vertical line.

Can anyone help me?

CMO = Chi Mei (brand of the panel)

The Controler is part of the panel and no sparepart, in my opinion

I have the same LCD, now out of order due power unit problem. How can the case be opened? The repair engineer tried for 2 hours without any result. It is like a black box. Does anyone have any idea how it can be opened?
